Pete Mitracos, a self-employed small businessman, raised in the city of Tracy decided to run for City Council.  His decision to seek office stemmed from his desire to promote community and responsible growth within his hometown.  He sought out Nappic to help him develop his brand and message to gain mindshare with the residents of Tracy.

Pete Mitraco’s wanted his brand to resonate with the residents of Tracy while communicating his ideas and ideals. Nappic worked with Pete to capture his story and weave it into his vision, mission and values thus creating a brand and message that would capture the attention of the residents of Tracy ultimately turning attention into votes.
Pete envisioned campaign materials that had a patriotic feel to them and incorporated some of the elements of the American flag.  Using his vision, Nappic came up with a bolder red for the logotype, and used the stars from the American flag to integrate the patriotic feeling into Pete's logo.  Pete wanted to keep the identity system simple. His feeling was that politics can get complicated so keeping the message and brand simple was important.
Using the philosophies of patriotism and simplicity Nappic wove Pete's vision into the website, brochures, commercials and yard sign.
